Nicușor Dan announced that he will promulgate the anti-extremism law in the form adopted by the Chamber of Deputies, regardless of the amendments made. This follows after the Senate rejected his request for re-examination, in which he emphasized that some provisions of the law are unclear and may lead to abuses.

Dan stated that the debate should focus on arguments, not personal conflicts. In the past, the president challenged the law in the Constitutional Court, considering it vague and susceptible to abusive interpretations, and the CCR rejected his complaint regarding measures against antisemitism and xenophobia.
