DNA prosecutors have detained a person accused of influence peddling, who allegedly promised the sum of one million euros to influence the management of Romtehnica. The defendant, former PSD senator Marius Ovidiu Isăilă, has a prior conviction for corruption offenses. Romtehnica is a national company with 40 years of experience in the defense field, serving as an interface between external partners and the Ministry of National Defense.
