Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan commented on the hiring of Alina Roxana Gîrbea, the sister-in-law of USR deputy Cătălin Drulă, in the position of state secretary at the Ministry of Investments and European Projects. Bolojan emphasized that this is a proposal from USR, which has been verified and has a solid professional background. He stated that the government does not create personnel or family files, considering that the decision is correct. Regarding possible requests for reimbursement of housing and transportation, Bolojan mentioned that state secretaries can benefit from official housing according to the legislation. Additionally, the Minister of European Funds, Dragoș Pîslaru, stated that he is not responsible for analyzing the personal relationships of employees, ensuring that Gîrbea meets all the necessary professional conditions for her position.
