Chapter 4: The best player of the National Team

According to The National Barometer of Romanian Sport, conducted by Inscop Research at the request of Fanatik.ro, approximately a quarter of football fans in our country consider Ianis Hagi to be the best player of the national football team.

Methodology:

The national barometer of Romanian sport Fanatik – INSCOP Research was conducted by INSCOP Research at the request of the website Fanatik.ro. Data was collected between October 10-22, 2025. Research method: interview via questionnaire. Data was collected using the CATI method (telephone interviews), with a simple stratified sample volume of 1500 people. The sample is representative for significant socio-demographic categories (gender, age, occupation) for the non-institutionalized population of Romania, aged 18 and over. The maximum margin of error for the data is ± 2.5%, at a confidence level of 95%.

The best player of the National Team

When asked who is the best player of the Romanian national football team, 25.7% of those who like football believe it is Ianis Hagi, 14.5% Radu Drăgușin, 10.3% Dennis Man, 8.3% Nicolae Stanciu, 5.9% Andrei Rațiu, 5.9% Daniel Bîrligea, 3.9% Louis Munteanu, 3.4% Alex Mitriță, 3.3% Denis Drăguș, 3.2% Florin Tănase, and 2.7% Valentin Mihăilă. 0.7% choose someone else. 12.1% do not know or do not respond.

It is considered that the best player of the Romanian national football team is Ianis Hagi especially by: women, people with primary education.

It is believed that the best player of the National Team is Radu Drăgușin especially by: young people under 30, residents of Bucharest, people with higher education, those with high income.

Young people under 30 and residents of rural areas believe that Dennis Man is the best player of the National Team in a higher proportion than the rest of the population.
