Vasile Daniel Balint, the son of the gangster Sile Cămătaru, has been detained and will be presented to the court with a proposal for preventive arrest, being accused of domestic violence. The incident took place in August, on a street in Sector 3 of Bucharest, and was captured by a surveillance camera. The footage shows Balint hitting his 12-year-old son, who does not live with him but is raised by his maternal grandparents. According to the Prosecutor's Office, Balint directed insults and threats at the boy, causing him physical suffering and disturbing public order. He will be brought before the Sector 3 Court to receive a decision regarding preventive arrest for 30 days.
