A study conducted by Storia shows a rebalancing of the rental market in major cities in Romania in October. Sector 2 of Bucharest recorded the highest annual increase, at 27% for three-room apartments, followed by Craiova (+10%) and Timișoara (+7%).
In contrast, Brașov and Cluj-Napoca experienced decreases of 7% and 5%, respectively. Rents in Cluj-Napoca remain the highest, with averages of 420 euros for studios and 749 euros for three-room apartments, while Arad remains the most affordable city, with average rents of 230 euros for studios. Additionally, moderate adjustments in rents were observed, with a 21% decrease in contacts between tenants and landlords compared to the previous month, but a 15% increase in page views, indicating a constant interest in housing.
