The Economic and Social Council (CES) has favorably approved the majority of the proposals in the fiscal package aimed at reducing the budget deficit, with the exception of those related to corporate governance and staff reductions in ASF and ANCOM. Business representatives believe that the measures will not reduce the budget deficit and contest the inequalities related to the accountability of managers based on the type of shareholding. Additionally, CES proposes adjustments to the social capital of companies and contests the obligation to open bank accounts for small businesses. The government will discuss various draft laws, including in the area of service pensions and the efficiency of public resources.
